Bob Willingham is the man
behind The World of Judo Magazine. Bob started judo
in 1978 and obtained a spot on the British National Squad (heavyweight)
in 1982. After representing Great Britain and England several times,
Bob retired from active competition in 1988 and pursued his professional
photography career. Since then, he has covered most major international
tournaments and events and has also documented many other aspects
of judo, creating an extensive picture library which is now available
through this web site. In addition to his role as Editor and Photographer
of The World of Judo Magazine, Bob is also the Editor
of the European Judo Union Newsletter and the Official Photographer
and Media Assistant for the International
Judo Federation and the British

Barnaby Chesterman is a freelance sports journalist with experience
in reporting, interviewing and writing about football, judo, athletics,
martial arts and community affairs. He has covered major events such
as Continental and World Championships and professional football matches
and has interviewed many of the the principle personalities.

Matt Carter is the official webmaster for twoj.org and has been a
contributing journalist for The World of Judo Magazine
and the International Judo Federation. He began his
judo career in Canada in 1982 and currently resides in the Toronto-area
with his wife. He has also called England and Japan home, having lived
and trained for a number of years in each country. Matt is the Co-founder
and Production Director of Sonic
Boom Creative Media Inc., a full-service interactive
agency based in Toronto, Canada.
