The video 'Koga, A New Wind' features footage from the former World
and Olympic champion's stunning competitive carreer, including rarities
such as his first major international appearence at the Junior World
championships and his historic attempt to win the All Japan Open
Weight championships, when only an -71 Kgs fighter. This includes
the final against World Open Weight champion Naoya Ogawa. In addition
there are all the highlights from his World championship and Olympic
performances. The book will feature some of the finest ever competition
shots from the library of IJF photographer Bob Willingham.
In addition to the action packed competition footage and photographs,
Koga breaks down his favourite techniques, both on the screen and
in the book, for the first time. His unique one handed seoi nage
and his spectacular sode tsurikomi goshi are two of the amazing
techniques featured. Plus in a candid interview, Koga talks about
his beginnings in the sport and the people and incidents that have
driven him throughout his judo life to his phenomenal success.
